Eating Humble Pie: Jayi Kemp The B Photographer?

Ever since I started snapping with my shutter, I have always been the lead photographer. Never once have I done an event where I was not the photographer in charge, but recently that changed.

Earlier this month I was presented with an oppurtunity to shoot a wedding with my Uncle as his assitant. And after weighing over the offer for a little bit, I happily accepted the chance to work with a professional who I felt I could learn from.

FAMILY ROAD TRIP

So update, I’m nearly back home now, and I know I have been away for like 10 days, but let me tell you something; it was well worth it. Over the last 9 days and some change I have had the opportunity to shoot an inspiring actress in Dallas, hangout with love ones in Indianapolis, walk the river walk in San Antonio, and see my little brothers near Ft. Hood.

So now that Katie Holmes is a free agent again is it safe to say that her former boyfriend Chris Klein will be looking to sweep his former honey off of her former scientology feet? I don’t know, but what I do know is this, it makes for excellent gossip (LOL).

RIH SPACE NEEDLE

So the disaster transport I can understand, but not the Space Needle! Tearing down the Space Needle is like doing away with Eiffiel Tower in Paris. It is a landmark that is synonymous with all Ohioans and neighboring states, it’s the spot where kids go on school field trips together and make out with their girlfriends, its where I went to overcome my

So do you see the irony in this, the Toledo Police Department has been reluctant to send the Toledo Blade a copy of its “Gang Map.” A Gang Map that we all know would become public knowledge if up to the Blade staff and probably used to benefit the citizens of Toledo as a whole.

I don’t know how it started, but it needs to stop! For the past few years consumers have had to watch as these television networks and service providers argue over pricing for station usage, causing consumers such as myself to wake up occasionally and be without our expected programming.

ESPN'S BODY ISSUE

My love for photography consumes the remaining brain cells I have left over from “my experimental drug usage stage,” in my early 20’s. I love God and God has given me the eye to have an appreciation for art and earlier today, I just so happen to stumble across ESPN’s Magazine new issue: The Body Issue. And after observing its many wonderful photographs, I thought I would share with you guys some of the images I thought stood out.

So I was OBSERVING (LOL) my Facebook timeline the other day and I found this new Facebook Fan Page Called Expose Booty, and let me tell you something, I still don’t know what the page is entirely “About” but I did catch on to the photos being posted on their and to summarize my experience; it was Booty – licaous … LMBO.

I don’t know if the city of Toledo is punishing all black residents of the Southside of Toledo for the immature and stupidity of some of its residences, but it sure does look like the city is removing all the main “black” attractions on that side of town.

Some say you should not mix business with pleasure, but I say what’s the point of doing business if there is no pleasure involved? For me relationships trump everything when doing business, if I cannot see a friendship blossoming out of our session together, then I am very reluctant to do business with you.

How friendships go wrong

I tried on several occasions to resolve the situation between the Plaintiff and I, I offered her a redo family Christmas shoot free of charge, I re-alter her original images over and over again trying to appease her, but at the end of the day, she wasn't happy with the work and billed our session together as a "lesson learned."

Remove the color of his skin and what you have is an open and shut case about a man who killed a 17 year old boy who had no weapon of any sort other than a cellphone, ice tea, and a bag of skittles. Now add color to that child and identify his shooter as a White/Hispanic male and we have perhaps the greatest expose injustice in US history (in my opinion); the Trayvon Martin case.

There once was a time in my life where going out on the weekend was my religion. I lived for it, I learn from it, and occasionally on Sunday morning, I repented for it.
