Big Deal it’s Only 26 Homicides!
Written By: Jayi Kemp

If you have not heard yet, Toledo has ascended to new heights this year, we have accumulated 26 homicides over the past 12 months and as I have mentioned before, this trend is far from over.

Living in a city that in my opinion is so easily influence by the crime patterns of bigger metropolitan areas around it, the citizen (including myself) of Toledo should not expect this growing statistic to decrease anytime soon.

Anytime you have children raising themselves and not taught (in the homes first) how to deal with conflict, you’re going to see a lot more victims of murder then the occasional butt – whooping that use to happen.

It is not the TV’s fault, it is not that the police department that is doing a bad job here; it is more so on these parents producing children but not raising them correctly or influencing them to live a fictional life.

Life is precious people, no mother nor father wants to see their children leave this earth before them, life was not designed to be that way, but living in a society where people want to shot rather than brawl, I guess 26 murders is no big deal (Just ask the victims families)!
