Happy 20th Homicide Toledo!

So as you all know by now the Great Citizens of Toledo, Ohio have accumulated 20 murders thus far for 2010. Take note on how I use “thus” in the sentence before hand, because it’s only October, and if our past is any indication my friends, killing season is far from over. Last year we accumulated 29 murders, 8 which are still unsolved, and according to the Toledo Blade (www.toledoblade.com)* that number is up immensely from 2008 in which we only had 20 murders, but nothing can compare to the year 2007, in 2007 Toledo only had 13 homicides people, that’s right, only 13 homicides.

So why are we having so many killings as of lately? There are many factors that I can factor in but those statistics do not hold a grain of rice compared to people just being responsible! Laugh out loud, I myself find it very amusing, to think that a whole lot of senseless violence could be avoid if people govern over themselves and just use logic over bullets. True … true, we might have a growing number of assault cases, but unfortunately I would have to advocate good old fashion beat downs versus impulsive killings.

Losing a child is not easy, it could be a lifelong grieving process that some parents are not able to cope with or get over, but can you blame them? It takes nearly 10 months to birth a child and yet it only takes a coward (in my John Walsh voice) to kill them! I don’t have a solution that can solve the homicide rate for our beloved city, but I do know where to start, if you have any information on the shooting death of  Deandre Green, 21, please call crime stoppers at 419 – 255 – 1111, remember that by concealing the truth your only advocating the violence!

I encourage you to read some of my findings for yourself, and if you have any information that can lead to the following cases that remain unsolved in Toledo I encourage you to share it Unsolved Toledo Murders or if you feel uncomfortable please E-mail I will report it, because enough is enough My E-mail Address
