Dear Fellas,

We are quickly approaching a new year, and with a new year come new challenges along with new beginnings for some. I am concerned with the way 2011 will begin as well as end, mainly because of our men.

The sky is the limit for families and individual success, so why is it that all of our men are not leaders, better fathers, and role models for the upcoming generation?

I am a woman that’s a single mother and I enjoy its everyday task but I have such high hopes for our fellas in the year 2011. I am not here to speak negatively of all men; I am simply here to ask for more men to please stand up. In order for me to even know what a man should be I had to of witnessed one all my own, which I have and as a woman I sincerely want to tell my men that we need you to stand strong in order to better our country and we truly need you speaking as a community.

We need you but we need a better you, we need a more significant and understanding you, we desire a dedicated, civilized and loyal you. We need a gentle you, an educated, intelligent you. My Brother we need a role model, one that can be distinguished as a man just by the looks and actions of him, not a self proclaimed man. A man that realizes he was once a boy and allows his past to show his maturity as a man.

You ask why WE need you, its simple, look at what the country has become without your strong presence as fathers and consistency as leaders. Men don’t allow you past mistakes to hinder you from a bright future, because you are born leaders and providers.

I love my Men especially my brothers, but I pray that with this New Year I will see more of my men stepping up to life’s everyday challenges.  I want to see you at your best at all times, young children are looking to you for guidance and security so make it happen fellas. I believe in you and I love you.

Sincerely,
    Miss Tel

  2. Oh Miss Tel , this is very encouraging! Hopefully the men take this message seriously and start to recognize a Woman's worth. The world would be a much better place if our men did their parts in their family's lives! I will make sure my father reads this .
    much love :)
