Woodstock is now Jim Jackson Way!

Is not too often the city of Toledo does something special to honor a black citizen who has ascend to national spotlight using his God given talents in basketball. So it does nothing but make me smile hearing that the city of Toledo is transforming the street known as Woodstock to Jim Jackson Way!
I know, I know, we all can make an argument as to why Woodstock, a little street in between Nebraska and Dorr St., but hey at least he is getting some recognition from the city he honored so proudly with his infamous 419 sweat bands that gained national attention when he was a member of the Sacramento Kings.
Mr. Jackson has been the constant professional and example to youth that you can make it to stardom even though you hail from Toledo. With all of Mr. Jacksons attempt ventures to immortalize himself in the city of Toledo, it is nice to see that this venture does not come at the expense of being sued by the city, Congrats Jimmy!
