Lil D: From Hot 97 to the Toledo Star

There use to be a time not too long ago when Hot 97.3 fm (Toledo) seem to be taking a run at the long standing Juice 107.3 fm for the title of the # 1 hip – hop radio station in the area. With a nice song rotation and 2 up and coming Disc Jockeys (DJ) in Hutch Daddy Dollar and Lil ‘D holding down the air between the hours of 2pm – 10 pm, Hot 97.3 seemed poised for a promising future, but just like the Cavilers hoping to resign Lebron James in last year’s off season, shit happens, and Hot 97.3 was off to the next one.

Unfortunately for Hot 97.3 the replacements for Hutch Daddy Dollars and Lil ‘D where not up to par, and just like the Cavilers championship hopes, Hot 97.3 reign seem to be all but over with, however I cannot say the same for Hutch Daddy Dollars or his female counterpart, Lil ‘D.

Lil ‘D has done an awesome job of making the transaction from live on – air personality to opinionated journalist who blesses The Toledo Free Press/Star with weekly articles on things not always publicize in other printed media sources around the city.

Lil ‘D may have lost some listeners since placing the microphone down, but she is gaining incredible credibility with her journalism skills.
