Dog Killer, Psychopath, Murderer, Lunatic were just some of the clean words dish out at Michael Vick when he was being sentences for the  cruel and inhumane killings of several fight dogs that he breed to fight in his dog fighting ring.

15 months may not seem like a whole heap of time to most, but for a Pro Bowl quarterback at the height of his career, 15 months can be a lifetime! Michael Vick was sentence to 15 months inside of a correctional facility for partaking in the killings and or killing of several dogs he breaded to fight in his dog fighting ring.

Michael Vick was no longer in the limelight for his amazing athletic skills, no; he was in the spotlight for cruelty to animals. In the animal loving society that we all live in, one could make the claim that it is easier to forgive a person for manslaughter then for taking the life of a precious animal. What Michael Vick participated in was not a social – norm, therefore he served his punishment, lost his endorsements, and went from a skilled athlete to an amazing comeback story!

Redemption

Upon Michael Vicks release from supervised custody many teams were skeptical of taking a chance on him because of the negative (-) backlash they were going to have to embrace because of Michaels troubles before hand, but luckily the Eagles organization was willing to take a chance on Michael Vick and give him a shot at redeeming himself. In his first season he was limited to the role of 3 string quarterback because of starting quarterback Donovan Mcnabb, but after 1 season riding mostly pine, the world has been bless with a chance to see the once popular falcon sore to the heights of football elite now as a eagle.

Michael Vick has risen to the challenge in a way I am not sure many expert had imagine he could in such a quick period of time, but now with the eagles all but certain looking playoff bound I find it a story of triumpth and revenage that as of today Michael Vick is the leading voter getter in this years Pro – Bowl game, congrats Mr. Vick, congrats!
